First Friendly Against Ex-Spangels

Spangels first pre-season friendly in the build-up to the 2006/2007 season will be against some familiar individuals.

James Todd, who starred in the second half of Spangels last campaign has formed a Sunday side that will compete in the Dunmow league. M&G (as they are known) have thrown down the gauntlet, with the fixture pencilled-in for Sunday 13th August, taking place at Barnston FC.

It is hoped that despite the holiday season, many of the Spangels squad will be available for this game as they look to gain match fitness (something many struggle for!) leading in to the new fixture-laden 2006/2007 competition.
