Spangels Wilt...

Pre-season training looks to be a thing of the past, as the soon to be 30-something Spangels squad was reduced to just five attendees on Sunday.

This worrying development has caused mumblings from some as to whether the club will be able to continue into the 2006/2007 season. With only one friendly arranged to-date, further fixture organisation could be at threat, as an eleven man squad may be hard to achieve!

The club's Management Committee will need to discuss with squad members the realities of competition next season, with an outcome necessary within a week or two.

I haven't been able to attend training so far this season as I have not been at work since June, and have just been signed off for another 2 weeks by the doc. I do however intend to arrange holidays/shift swaps at work to make myself available for matches, should I be required.

Oh, and for those of you wishing to lose weight, but without doing a "Diet" then take a look at www.weightlossresources.co.uk
